Bear Bowl - Shark Tank Product

October 8, 2018

A bowl is a bowl - right?  Not so much!  Bear Bowl, designed by Corey Santiago, is a cooking pot and bowl in one and it folds flat!   It is small enough to fit in your pocket, making it perfect for hiking and camping.  Santiago and his wife Cory introduced the Bear Bowl to Shark Tank on Season 10, Episode 1, which aired on October 7, 2018.  They were seeking an investment of $100K for 20% of the company.

The Bear Bowl is the primary product of the company Bare Minimum, which is also selling t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats.

The Santiagos walked away from the Shark Tank with a deal from guest shark Jamie Siminoff for $100K in exchange for a 25% equity stake in the company.

The Bear Bowl is appealing to survivalists and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The body of the bowl is flame resistant, but not fireproof.   The pot body is made from food-grade PTFE coated fiberglass.

Bear Bowl was offered on both Indegogo and Kickstarter campaigns and is now available on Amazon and at bearminimum.org. The Bear Bowl comes in three sizes:  32 oz, 64 oz. and 128 oz.
